STP’s Backpack & Clothing Drive
STP takes our charitable leadership seriously. We remain committed during the pandemic to supporting those less fortunate by continuing to work with our neighbor, the Dorothy Day Center at St. Agnes Parish in West Chester, PA. We are proud of our employees who stepped up to the challenge by more than doubling over last year our donation of school supply-filled backpacks in August 2020. Yesterday, a team returned to deliver sweatpants, t-shirts and socks for distribution to the local homeless.
While at the Day Center, plans were discussed regarding next month’s produce donation for the annual Thanksgiving food distribution. COVID-19 will change the method of distribution to be very low-touch, but gratefully it will not diminish our ability to get food to those who need it and promote family time during an otherwise difficult period.
