President & Chief Executive Officer

Patrick Murray is the founder of STP and leads its activities in his dual role as President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. It was Patrick’s vision of building a world-class, client-centric, software-driven solutions provider for investment managers’ front, middle, and back office challenges that led to his creation of STP and then recruiting the balance of the global team.  STP has grown tremendously under Patrick’s leadership by expanding the team, capabilities, products, and clients at an award-winning pace.  Patrick continues to play an extremely active role in the development of the firm’s proprietary software geared toward generating solutions for our clients.

Patrick’s background includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer for PRP Performa Ltd., as well as holding a diverse set of positions at Merrill Lynch (Technology Leadership Program), and J.P. Morgan Chase. Patrick graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. (magna cum laude) in Management Information Systems and Finance, and from Boston University (1st in class) with an M.S. in Computer Information Systems and a Graduate Certificate in IT Project Management. In addition, Patrick coaches youth soccer and basketball, regularly volunteers with various church and community organizations and serves as a Board Member for the Innovative Technology Action Group (ITAG), Advisory Board Member for Tech Impact, and as an Affiliate Member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the CFA Institute.

Patrick has led STP to numerous industry awards including being a six-time winner of Philadelphia’s Business Journal’s – Best Places to Work in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Inquirer’s Top Work Places, Inc. Keith Bradley joined STP in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for the leading all aspects of the global investment operations for the company. Keith ensures that clients have a world class experience from implementation to steady state production.  As part of the Executive Management Team, Keith is responsible for contributing the strategic vision, growth strategy and client experience initiatives at STP.  Keith brings more than two decades of experience to STP.

Prior to STP, Keith worked at Genpact, a publicly-held global consulting organization. While at Genpact, he launched an Asset Servicing solution targeting Buy Side asset management firms resulting in significant growth in the first three years. Keith’s prior roles include Head of Performance Measurement and Risk for iX Partners, a boutique consulting firm and several operations roles Ark Asset Management, a $30B multi-product institutional asset management firm in New York City. Keith holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Beloit College. Outside of the office, he enjoys coaching soccer, mountain biking, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with his family.

Christopher Sallemi joined STP in 2010 as the firm’s Chief Technology and Information Security Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of STP’s industry leading financial technology cloud-based software platform. At STP, Chris is also responsible for the firm’s cyber security posture and information technology roadmap. As part of the executive team, Chris contributes to the organization’s strategic product vision. Chris bring more than 15 years of financial technology and software development experience to STP.

Prior to STP, Chris worked at Lockheed Martin, a multi-billion-dollar government defense contractor. At Lockheed Martin, Chris served as a Senior Software Engineer within their Information Systems and Global Solutions (IS&GS) line of business. In this role, Chris led several research and development projects and applied bleeding edge web-based technologies to the Intelligence and defense industry. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Villanova University. Outside of the office, he is an avid golfer, enjoys exercising, watching sports, reading about new technologies and spending time with his family.

Dan Schlossberg is the EVP of Business Development & Relationship Management at STP Investment Services, responsible for building and managing client relationships. Dan has over 25 years of industry experience and throughout his career he has worked in many different client facing roles and operational management positions. In these roles, Dan oversaw and managed back office operations, investment accounting and client implementations. Dan was a founding member of iX Partners, at which he was instrumental building out their middle and back outsourcing office product suite. At STP, he is able to draw from his experience to help clients find greater reward in their operational requirements and ecosystem initiatives.

Michelle Giardino joined STP in 2014 as the Chief Financial Officer, and has more than 20 years of finance and operations executive management experience in privately-held organizations. In her role as CFO, Michelle is responsible for the finance, human resources and administrative areas of the firm.  She is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and running all finance activities of the company, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and M&A activities. Prior to joining STP, Michelle worked as a consultant, running an outsourced accounting service for two CPA firms and was the global CFO/COO for a high-growth manufacturing company with domestic and foreign operations. Michelle holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Centenary University, with an A.S. in Accounting/Finance.  When not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.

Ravi Agarwal, Managing Director and Head of Investment Operations – STP India, has been with STP since 2014. He has a diverse career spanning 17 years of working in the financial services industry. Ravi brings talent in investment operations, capital markets, data management, delivery management, offshore organizations management, and build-up of companies. In his capacity, Ravi is responsible for day-to-day investment operations, strategic planning and solutions, team management, and managing and operating the STP India office. He is also responsible for STP India’s P&L, talent acquisition and business development. Prior to joining STP, Ravi served as Senior Principal Consultant at Headstrong Capital Markets LLC. He has a post-graduate degree from VIIM Pune and graduated in Commerce from JNVU University. Ravi is a certified project manager and experienced in lean tools and techniques.

Donald joined STP in late 2019, leading the effort to form STP’s affiliated Investment Advisor, STP Investment Partners, which acquired AlphaOne Capital Partners in 2019.  He brings more than 25 years of experience leading operational and compliance roles for various institutional asset management companies, most recently with AlphaOne Capital Partners and its internal strategies along with building out the platform to support affiliated investment advisors. Donald has deep experience in overseeing mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity and venture funds, along with separate accounts.  In addition to his Chief Compliance role, he will supports the product development and oversight of front office solutions to support STP clients, including PennHaven Brokerage Partners, LLC.

Donald earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Villanova University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University.  Donald holds FINRA licenses, series 7, 24, and 63. While he grew up close to our office in West Chester, he now resides in Bucks County with his wife Jennifer and two daughters Grace and Ashley, and is active in coaching and rooting for their respective teams. When time permits, Donald likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible, playing a round of golf, sitting on a beach, or sliding down a mountain.

Saneesh Surendran is Senior Vice President of Systems and a Director of STP India, and has been with STP since inception. He has vast experience within the capital markets industry, and specializes in Eagle Investment Systems, Markit EDM and other leading financial systems. Saneesh has excellent domain knowledge and has been the technical lead on multiple STP implementation projects. In his capacity as the Head of Systems, he partners with all STP clients in understanding their requirements and architecting solutions that maximize efficiencies on the STP platform. Saneesh also works with STP’s business leaders and leads a global team of financial systems experts. He has significant experience in integrating leading vendors in the investment management industry like Bloomberg, ICE, FactSet, CRD, Longview etc.  Prior to joining STP, Saneesh worked as a consultant at Robeco Investment Systems and held key roles in the technology space for leading investment firms including HSBC’s Halbis Capital Asset Management, Ark Asset Management, Trilogy Investments, and Northern Trust.

Saneesh has completed his Bachelor’s in Telecommunications Engineering from the Mumbai University. He enjoys all sports and follows Cricket and Soccer closely. Outside of work, Saneesh, his wife, and son love to travel across the globe.

Frank Farnesi joined STP Investments in 2019 as a Senior Vice President of Operations.  He has over 20 years’ experience spanning roles in front to back office firms like State Street Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and SEI Investments.  Prior to joining STP, Frank ran the Global Enterprise Business Solutions team for State Street with primary responsibility of data delivery and management, operational controls, and product management.  This network of experiences created an ability to partner business knowledge with data and technology to successfully meet clients’ current and future needs.

Frank has a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini College, a BSED from West Chester University, and a certification in Project Management from Pennsylvania State University.

Jeff Hooks is Senior Vice President of Operations at STP Investments with more than 20 years of experience.  Jeff is responsible for the day-to-day management of the investment manager outsourcing services, which includes operations, client management, and shared services.  Prior to joining STP, Jeff was a Director at SEI Investments.  In this role, Jeff was responsible for overseeing multiple functions within the middle office team.  Jeff also spent time at various investment management firms including Nuveen Investments, PIMCO Allianz (now Allianz Global), and Nicholas Applegate.

Jeff graduated with a degree in Business Economics from University of California at Santa Barbara.  Jeff was born and raised in San Diego and now enjoys the East Coast with his wife, Laurie, and three boys.

J.P. Grignoli is a SVP of Operations at STP. He leads our Implementations team with expert-level knowledge in trade capture, portfolio accounting, corporate action processing, performance measurement, account reconciliation, fee billing, and client reporting. J.P has more than 15 years of broad-based capital markets experience derived from senior roles in consulting organizations working with asset management firms. He is a results-oriented professional with a proven track record of client satisfaction and approval. Prior to joining the firm, J.P worked at Headstrong, Genpact, iX Partners and Bank of New York.

J.P graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics. He and his wife live in Long Island, NY with their two kids. Outside of work, J.P. spends many days at ice hockey arenas and baseball fields as a coach, or on the links golfing. He and his family enjoy beach days, begrudgingly rooting for the NY Giants, Mets, and Islanders, and occasionally attending Mets and Islanders games.

Jessica Cruz, VP of Project Management, has more than 15 years of project management experience. She is a creative problem solver who effectively manages risk to ensure a successful and timely project implementation and positive experience for the client. Jessica has a strong knowledge of financial products, hands-on operational experience, and ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas levels of an organization in addition to providing vendor oversight. Prior to joining STP, Jessica worked at Genpact, Citi and BNY Mellon in their Wealth and SMA servicing divisions.

Jessica earned a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Oneonta. She enjoys living in New York’s Hudson Valley with her husband and two kids. Away from the office, besides being a sports chauffer, Jessica loves to read and has a monthly book club with friends.

Murali Subramani is a director of STP India and leads activities in his role as VP of the India Software Development Unit. He also is a Board Member (Additional Director) in STPIS India Pvt. Ltd. Murali continues to play an extremely active role in the development of the firm’s proprietary technology geared toward generating solutions for clients. His background includes serving as the Associate VP for Aberdeen Asset Management, Neuberger Berman, as well as holding a diverse set of technology positions in various companies. Murali graduated from MEI Polytechnic with a degree in Computer Science and has extensive knowledge in capital markets and technology. Additionally, Murali is certified in Markit EDM, a leader in capital markets data management.

Murali enjoys a good Netflix binge, long motorcycle rides with friends, and long drives with family. He’s also watches cricket and spends time with family and friends.

Jason Bolc, VP of Operations, has 15 years of experience in the investment services industry. His unique blend of operational expertise, project management, client service, and relationship management skills have allowed him to play an intricate role in supporting his team and clients, on-boarding new clients and product lines, and improving operational efficiency. Prior to joining the STP family, Jason worked at SEI Investment Services, where he effectively managed the day-to-day relationships for seven Registered Investment Managers totaling $26.7 billion AUM. He specializes in client relationships, departmental workflows/solutions, and total operations across all department applications.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart with whom they have two children that they love to keep outside. Jason enjoys the outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, and snowboarding, among others.

Emily Strickland is a VP of Operations with STP. She has more than 17 years of industry experience with a focus on back office operations, data management, systems conversions, client reporting, SSAE18 audits and outsourcing implementations. Prior to joining STP, Emily worked at SS&C Technologies- PORTIA where she managed the outsourced operations team. She was directly responsible for managing a team across multiple clients that processed all back office functions. Emily’s previous roles include portfolio administration and custody operations.

Emily holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University. She enjoys her free time with her two children and her husband. This includes attending travel baseball games with her son, art classes with her daughter, and relaxing with a good glass of wine when she can.

Steve Arnold is VP of Fund Accounting at STP Investment Services. He serves as the leader of STP’s fund accounting team where he has developed and enhanced the firm’s fund administration offering. Steve joined STP in 2014 and has ten years of industry experience. Prior to joining STP, he served in various accounting roles at BNY Mellon and SEI Investments where he managed the delivery of accounting and administrative services for an array of investment products including Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge funds. Steve graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Yvonne Guardado joined STP in 2018 as the Human Resources Manager. In this strategic and hands-on role, Yvonne manages the full-cycle Human Resources function including recruiting top talent, executing our human capital initiatives, providing internal customer support and driving functional excellence and process improvement.

Yvonne is certified as both a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP and has over 16 years of Human Resources experience. She has worked for a variety of organizations and industries including: Bausch & Lomb, Wegmans Food Markets, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Yvonne graduated from St. John Fisher College with a B.A in International Studies and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development. She is happily married to her husband Pablo and has two school-aged girls. With family all over the world, she enjoys traveling internationally. Yvonne stays active with her young children between gymnastics, soccer, girl scouts, and more. When she’s not running around with her girls- you can find Yvonne enjoying many of the area’s walking trails, dreaming up a new interior design project in her home, or trying a new recipe.

David Likens is an Assistant Vice President of Operations at STP Investments with more than six years of experience. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Business Solutions services, which involves critical knowledge of operations as well as technology and data sciences.  Prior to joining STP, David was an Operations Supervisor at SEI Investments.  In this role, he was responsible for overseeing a team of reconciliation analysts and was the primary contact for client reconciliation inquiries. David also served as a member of the United States Air Force Reserves as a Non-Commissioned Officer from 2010 – 2016.

David graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration –  Management from  the University of Kutztown, Pennsylvania and holds the Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute. Outside of work, David enjoys long distance running and has completed the Air Force Marathon twice. He also enjoys to travel and spend time with his wife, son, and two dogs.

Shannon Merrill is an AVP, Operations at STP and manages the middle and back office operational services for a select group of clients. She joined STP in 2014 and has held several positions during her time with STP.

Shannon graduated from West Chester University with a BS in Financial Mathematics and a minor in Finance. Outside of work, Shannon teaches the color guard and marching band at West Chester University and Radnor High School. In her free time, Shannon enjoys cooking, hiking with her dog Bandit, and spending time with her family.

Patrick Iozzo, CIPM, is AVP and Head of Investment Performance. Patrick has more than 15 years of industry experience with a concentration in GIPS compliance, investment performance and attribution analysis. At STP, Patrick is responsible for all aspects of investment performance. With a diverse field of experience having worked for investment managers that cater to institutional and high net worth investors, custodian banks and industry consultants, Patrick brings a unique perspective to this role. Patrick has his CIPM charter, an Undergraduate Degree from University of Massachusetts and a Masters in Finance from Suffolk University.

Neetu Verma is head of STP’s Quality Assurance Team and has more than 15 years of experience in software testing and has a strong passion for quality. She joined STP in September 2019 and since then she has been instrumental in improving existing, and implementing new, testing strategies and solutions. Neetu is a problem solver and truly believes that everything can be tested, we just need to get creative.

Prior to joining STP, Neetu worked at Trion Group, Capital One, Siemens, Medecision, Inc. in different roles.

Neetu originally is from Delhi, India. She earned a bachelor’s in computers from IGNOU, India. Outside of work, Neetu enjoys cooking different cuisines and her favorite is Delhi-style Indian food. She lives in West Chester, PA with her husband and two teenage kids. Neetu believes in giving back to community and has participated multiple times in the Susan G. Komen, 60-mile walk, and has a strong passion to raise awareness for Breast cancer.

Jason Gambale, AVP – Fund Services – Portfolio Accounting, manages the daily and monthly NAV delivery for all of STP’s fund administration clients. He specializes in the portfolio accounting facet of the overall NAV workflow and acts as the main liaison between the Fund Service’s U.S. onshore and India offshore teams.

Jason has been with STP since 2015 and has nearly 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining STP, he worked at BNY Mellon in both NAV operations and fund conversion. He helped BNY migrate funds off of their legacy accounting platform and onto Eagle Investment Systems.

Jason graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Accounting. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his wife and three boys, go to the New Jersey Shore, and play/watch any and all sports.
