STP Investment Services Appoints Tony Mannino as General Counsel
WEST CHESTER, PA, January 31, 2024 — STP Investment Services (STP), a leading global provider of technology-enabled, end-to-end investment servicing solutions, today announced the appointment of Anthony Mannino as General Counsel.
Mannino brings to his role nearly 30 years of legal and operational experience in the financial services industry. He was most recently General Counsel at Houwzer, a venture-backed real estate and financial services provider based in Philadelphia. His prior legal roles included serving as chief of staff for two members of Pennsylvania’s General Assembly, as well as more than a decade as a commercial litigator in private practice. Along the way, he was also COO for a regional commercial real estate firm and served on the boards of directors of several governmental and nonprofit entities.

This hiring comes on the heels of several other strategic hires. Emmy Bernard, former Global Head of Marketing at ACA Group and Head of Client Development at Foreside Financial Group, joined STP in January 2024. David Whitaker, former President of Foreside Financial Group and Global Services Leader at ACA Group, joined STP 10 months ago as President to focus on inorganic growth. Prior to that, Dan Houlihan, industry veteran and former Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Servicing for the Americas at Northern Trust, joined STP to lead the company as CEO.
